My boyfriend of about a year and half told me that he wasnt in love with me today. Correction; he told me that it was hard for him to say he was in love with me.
Though, he didn't mean to hurt me by telling me this, never in my life has something someone said hurt more.
For the past year and a half, I've been trying to find a place for myself in his life and in his heart. All this time, I feel like all I've hit are walls. Just when I finally think I'm getting closer, he tells me he's not in love with me.
Now we're taking a "break." But it's more like we're breaking up until he can figure out whether he still wants to be with me not. And I have absolutely no hope. I don't know if he'll come back to me or not. I just know it's going to be a painful wait.

the whole time will heal is most used when a couple breaks up or someone dies that although ur hurt at the moment, as time goes by that hurt will begin to fade... doesn't always work...
but i still want to wish u the best of luck.... and hope he comes to his senses soon
i'm not sure that the quote means that time will heal. it just means that if they leave and dont turn back, they never loved you to begin with and its not your fault. if they do come back, then that means the love is true.
either way, we got back together pretty quickly.
that quotes a buch of lies, like "time will heal" not trying to put ur hopes down, and saying i know what ur going through doesn't always work either.... but i'm kinda in the same situation now.... just didn't go out with the person... yelling "FUCK YOU" can work in making u feel somewhat better but fighting only makes things worst if you decide to ever say it to his face. things like this makes me scared.... although risks make the world go round.
try to take ur mind off it, he doesn't take into account all that you've done for him, and thinking only about him self will get him no where
